GRACE, PRINCESS OF MONACO

Screen-queen Grace Kelly caused a worldwide sensation in 1956 when she wed Prince Rainier III and became real-life royalty—Her Serene Highness Princess Grace of Monaco, to be exact. A pregnancy was announced very soon after, and exactly nine months and four days later, Grace gave birth to her first child, Caroline. The next year Albert was born, and seven years after that she had her last child, Stéphanie.

PRINCESS (NOW QUEEN) ELIZABETH

Just a few months after tying the knot with Prince Philip, Princess Elizabeth (at that time soon-to-be reigning Queen Elizabeth II) already had a baby on board. She gave birth to today's king-to-be, Prince Charles, on November 14, 1948. Three more children—Anne, Andrew and Edward—would come over the next decade-and-a-half.

ANNE, PRINCESS ROYAL

The only daughter of the current Queen Elizabeth, the Princess Royal got hitched to a commoner, Captain Mark Phillips, in 1973. He refused a royal title, so when Anne got pregnant and gave birth to Peter in 1977, her son received no title, even though he is a direct descendent of the current monarch. A girl, Zara, followed in 1981, and she now has a 3-year-old daughter, Mia, with her husband, rugby player Mike Tindall.

DIANA, PRINCESS OF WALES

Diana wasn't shy about discussing her pregnancy with the media once the news broke that she and Prince Charles were expecting in November 1981. She gave birth to son and future King of England Prince William on June 21, 1982. A little more than two years later, on September 15, 1984, she would give birth to a second son, Prince Harry.

CAROLINE, PRINCESS OF HANOVER

It didn't take long for Princess Grace's oldest child Caroline to produce a baby after she wed Italian industrial heir Stefano Casiraghi. In fact, she was already pregnant when they married. Her first son, Andrea, was born in 1984, followed by Charlotte in 1986 and Pierre in 1987.

PRINCESS MÄRTHA OF NORWAY

Queen Sonja's daughter, Martha Louise, married Ari Behn in 2002. The pair moved away from Norway and her royal bloodlines, settling down in London. A couple months after she wed, Martha was already expecting her first daughter. Maud was born in April 2003, followed by Leah and Emma, who were born three years apart.

MARY, CROWN PRINCESS OF DENMARK

After the 2000 Sydney Olympics, Australian-born Mary was shocked to find out she was dating the Crown Prince of Denmark, Frederick—who initially just told her to call him "Fred." The pair tied the knot in 2004, and the next year the new Crown Princess was pregnant with her first child, Christian. Since then, three have followed.

VICTORIA, CROWN PRINCESS OF SWEDEN

It's been a whirlwind couple years for this crowd-favorite royal, Victoria. The heir to the Swedish throne married in 2010, and announced she was pregnant with her first child 14 months later. In February 2012, the adorable Princess Estelle, Duchess of Östergötland, came into the world. Her brother, Prince Oscar, arrived in March 2016.

CATHERINE, DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE

After months of speculation Kate and Will finally confirmed a baby royal was on the way in 2012. The couple, who were married on April 29, 2011, chose not to find out the gender of the baby. Coincidentally, a new law of primogeniture was enacted during Kate's first pregnancy, which meant the baby would be third in line to the British throne regardless of gender. It turns out that law wouldn't have mattered, as the couple welcomed Prince George on July 22, 2013. His sister, Princess Charlotte, arrived in May 2015, and the duchess is pregnant with Baby No. 3.

Royal Kids: All Grown Up!

PUTTING ON HEIRS

https://mom.me/lifestyle/3246-royal-kids-all-grown-up/

Britain's Princes, William and Harry, have certainly attracted the most royal attention over the years, but they aren't the only heirs to have captured our imagination. As Diana's boys occupied the spotlight once again at the Olympics, mom.me decided to check in on some of the other young European royals—and found them to be all grown up. From Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden to Andrea Casiraghi of Monaco, here's a look at what they're doing now

PRINCESS BEATRICE OF YORK

Mom and Dad: Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York

Age: 23

Although she is 5th in line to the British throne (and the first woman), Beatrice has followed in the philanthropic footsteps of her cousins, Princes William and Harry. She excelled in school—despite having been diagnosed with dyslexia at a young age. But from age 18 on, Beatrice made an effort to use her royal title

PRINCE WILLIAM OF WALES

Mom and Dad: Prince Charles and Princess Diana of Wales

Age: 30

While Will waits for his turn on the British throne, Britain eagerly awaits news of yet another royal heir. Like nosy aunts, the British press constantly speculates on when the nation's favorite couple will start a family. In the meantime, Will—a search-and-rescue pilot in the Royal Air Force—continues to work

PRINCE HARRY OF WALES

Mom and Dad: Prince Charles and Princess Diana of Wales

Age: 27

Compared to his responsible, straight-laced brother, Prince Harry was the “wild child” of the Windsor family. He became a fixture in the British tabloids when he decided not to attend college, choosing to enlist in the military instead, where he briefly served active duty in the Afghan War. Even now, he now holds current rank as Captain of The Blues and Royals, part of the Army Air Corps. But while his brother may be happily married, Harry seems more than content remaining single. Just look at that smile of his at this year's Olympics!

VICTORIA OF SWEDEN

Mom and Dad: King Carl XVI and Queen Silvia

Age: 35

Crown Princess Victoria is the only female heir-apparent in the world, next in line to the Swedish throne. This well-educated royal has certainly prepared for the role, including a stint at Yale in the late '90s and enrollment in the Ministry for Foreign Affairs' Diplomat Program at the University of Stockholm. Although she suffered from an eating disorder in her 20s, she sought help and made a full recovery. In 2010, she tied the knot, and this February gave birth to a baby girl. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for this budding world leader.

ANDREA CASIRAGHI

Mom and Dad: Princess Caroline of Monaco and Stefano Casiraghi

Age: 28

Andrea, whose grandmother was the late princess and screen icon Grace Kelly, is currently second in line to the throne of Monaco, since reigning Prince Albert does not have any legitimate children in line. Cameras followed him around as he grew up in France and later earned a Bachelor’s degree at the American University of Paris and a Master’s at The New School in NYC. Patron of the Motrice Foundation, which funds study of cerebral palsy, he also spent eight months teaching children in African countries. He may ascend the throne one day, but in for now, he’s busy planning a wedding to longtime-love Tatiana Santo Domingo.

CHARLOTTE CASIRAGHI

Mom and Dad: Princess Caroline of Monaco and Stefano Casiraghi

Age: 25

Of the three Casiraghi siblings (she has two full-brothers), 25-year-old Charlotte undoubtedly gets the most press. Called one of the world’s most eligible women at the age of 16, she’s been featured on best-dressed lists by the likes of Vanity Fair and Vogue. Charlotte is also a journalist, formerly editor-at-large of Above magazine. But she is a private one: In 2012, Charlotte filed a lawsuit against the French media for more privacy, around the same time she split from boyfriend Alex Dellal. She’s now single, and possibly looking for a low-key, regular Joe. Start grooming your boys now, mamas!

PRINCESS EUGENIE OF YORK

Mom and Dad: Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York

Age: 22

Living life inside the Windsor fold has meant considerable press attention for Beatrice’s younger sister, Eugenie, whose parents went through a very public divorce when she was just 6. Despite this, Eugenie says her parents are “the best divorced couple I know” according to Tatler. The royal lady wrapped studies at Newcastle University earlier this year, and celebrated by stepping up her charitable endeavors. She just signed on to be patron for the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Redevelopment Appeal.

MADELEINE OF SWEDEN

Mom and Dad: King Carl XVI and Queen Silvia

Age: 30

Princess Madeleine hasn’t exactly flown under the radar (Forbes includes her on its 2008 list of “Hottest Young Royals"). While her résumé is impressive—she graduated from the University of Stockholm in 2006 and interned for UNICEF’s Child Protective Services—she has been less lucky in love. An engagement to longtime boyfriend Jonas Bergstrom in 2009 was postponed to 2010, and the relationship ended soon after, amid rumors of that Bergstrom had been unfaithful. She made a fresh start by moving to the U.S., and has reportedly started dating finance-man Chris O'Neill.
